  • The independent research agency, GfK NOP, is currently conducting another survey to establish the level of confidence stakeholder organisations have in our enforcement regime. The first such survey was undertaken in October 2004.We need to measure whether we are successful in these activities by looking at the level of confidence now, against the base line established in 2004.

  • Between November 2005 and January 2006 we are contacting certain insolvent’s creditors by telephone to find out their views on the service we provide to creditors. Given the total number of creditors with whom we deal each year their views are under represented in our User Satisfaction Index.  This exercise attempts to address the balance.   • The Insolvency Service website can now be accessed over the telephone using a web reader facility. Users can call 0845 333 0323 where they will be given instructions on using this system.  Calls charged at local rate.

  • The Limited Liability Partnerships (Amendment) Regulations 2005 (SI 2005/1989)

          The Limited Liability Partnerships (Amendment) Regulations 2005 ("the SI") is now available.   The SI came into force on 1 October 2005.

  • Interest Rate Rise for Insolvency Services Account (ISA)

         The interest payable on funds held in the Insolvency Services Account (ISA) will rise from 4.75 per cent to 5 per cent for the benefit of creditors

         on the 1st August 2005.
