Statistics on bankruptcies, debt relief orders (DROs) and individual voluntary arrangements (IVAs) in England and Wales by geographical areas down to the equivalent of local authority level were published by the Insolvency Service on 9th July 2010. These annual statistics covering the period 2000 to 2009, showing numbers of new cases and rates per 10,000 adult population, may be viewed at the links below.

This edition reflects the recent changes to geographical boundaries and is broken down by Government Office Region, County, Unitary Authority and County District.
