A Consultation on Insolvency Service Official Statistics 

The Insolvency Service Statistics team has launched a user engagement consultation, to run from 26 July to 18 October 2010. We are interested in hearing your views about how you use our statistics and how you think we could improve them. Included in this exercise are all the statistics that can be found on this page.

The Statistics and Registration Act 2007 required the UK Statistics Authority to publish a Code of Practice for Statistics. Only those statistics assessed as compliant with the Code will be designated as National Statistics. The Code can be accessed here from the UK Statistics Authority website.

For more information on statistics produced by the department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS), including statements of compliance with the Code of Practice, can be found on the BIS Statistics website
