INITIAL PROCEDURE WHEN BANKRUPTCY ORDER MADE

INTRODUCTION

4.1 – Introduction - General

This chapter provides details of the official receiver's role when a bankruptcy order is made, what initial action is necessary on the making of the order, what initial enquiries should be made and what notices and letters should be sent out. It also provides details of how the bankruptcy proceedings relate to any prior insolvency proceedings against the bankrupt. It is divided into parts as follows:
