If you have bought a ticket from any of the companies which you have not received by the date of the event please send the following details to the Official Receiver by email to piu.or@insolvency.gsi.gov.uk in the first instance:

  • Your name
  • Your postal address
  • The company or trading name with whom you booked the ticket
  • The event for which you booked
  • The date of the event for which you booked
  • The number of tickets that you booked
  • The date you made payment
  • Whether you paid by credit or debit card
  • Total amount paid

The Official Receiver will issue his Report to Creditors in respect of each company within eight weeks and a copy of the Report will be sent to each creditor who has provided their details. If you have already provided your details by email there is no need to provide any further information at present.

The Official Receiver is not able to reply individually to each of the hundreds of customers who have written to us already. For your information the current position is as follows.

To date the Official Receiver has not recovered any tickets, nor have I seen any company records relating to the order and supply of tickets to customers. This means that I cannot confirm whether or not any tickets have been paid for or provided to any individual customer of the companies.

If the position changes, I will post an update on the companies’ websites and also here on the Insolvency Service website www.insolvency.gov.uk . If any tickets become available for you, I will contact you. Please do not contact this office for further information about your particular purchase, as I have no further information to give out.

In the meanwhile, if you have paid for tickets by credit card and did not receive them by the date of the event you may be able to obtain a refund from your credit card issuer under the provisions of the Consumer Credit Act. You may wish to provide a copy of this web page to your credit card issuer and draw their attention to the fact that, in the absence of any company records relating to the tickets, the Official Receiver cannot provide any further information

This website will be updated as further information becomes available.
